Enjoy a walk along the road toward a scenic waterfall viewpoint on Flores, where you can pause to take in the surrounding scenery and the sound of cascading water. The journey continues with a relaxing stop at the Malanage Hot Spring, perfect for unwinding, before heading on to Wolobobo Hill for a spectacular sunset over Inerie volcano.

09:00 – Depart from Manulalu, option to walk down to the hotspring or go by car / motorbike
10.30 - Waterfall & break
‍1pm - Lunch at Malanage hotspring
3pm - Back to Manulalu for rest
‍4.30pm - Sunset at Wolobobo
‍6.30pm - Back to Manulalu

Trek difficulty

The walk from Manulalu to the waterfall is mostly flat or downhill and takes around 1.5 hours. We follow a small road, so the terrain is easy and well maintained. The way back up is very steep, so a car or motorbike will pick guests up and take them to Malanage Hot Springs.

Expert guide

Your guide will take you to a hidden waterfall that is not yet known as a main tourist attraction, making it a very quiet and peaceful place. While swimming is not possible, you can walk closer to the waterfall and relax enjoying the sound of the cascading water.

When to visit

This day tour can be done all year round. However, we do not recommend visiting the hot springs after heavy rain, as the water comes directly from the river and can become cloudy.
