Reba Ceremony

From December to April, immerse yourself in one of Flores’ most meaningful cultural celebrations by joining the Reba Ceremony in the traditional villages of Bajawa. This ancestral Ngada ritual marks the beginning of the new agricultural cycle and honors lineage, community, and gratitude. Witness traditional dances, ceremonial chants, and vibrant gatherings around the iconic Ngada houses, as families dressed in customary attire come together to celebrate their heritage. Participating in Reba offers a rare and intimate opportunity to experience authentic village life, living traditions, and the deep spiritual connection between the people and their land. A truly exclusive cultural moment, only accessible during this special season.
